it’s up

weeks of scratching of heads, flying by seat of pants and trying to get good sounds to tape (er disk) that people will be able to latch on to…

we’ve recorded four demos of congregational songs…
all music for churches to sing and for people to enjoy and hopefully be encouraged and edified by … all written by yimmy or marty (and me in bits)

yimmy and i spent ages in the home studio getting it together, playing music really loudly way too late (the neighbours were very kind…) and just seeing what sounds fell out of our instruments.

the result is that the songs are finally pressed to cd and are up on the web and we’re releasing them under the banner of reason. all the music’s there. mp3s and sheet music and lyrics. (kudos to yimmy – he spent ages on the sheet music)

have a listen, if you like the songs feel free to send them round to your friends, play them in church, burn them to cd, whatever you like

now that we’ve kind of got a liiiitle bit more comfortable playing music in a studio setting i’m looking forward to playing with the sounds on future recordings
find some really interesting new engaging ways of getting the music across. we’ve started down that track but we have a long way to go.

hopefully. anyway, the project’s in God’s hands. looking forward to seeing if he does anything with this tiny little step.
